Leaving CEO Rob Looye welcomes Tom te Riele as new CEO at Plato Group
Now that the sale of the wholesale and manufacturing activities has been completed, a new phase is beginning in which the focus will be entirely on the further growth of the distribution brands IGO and Compacon.
Under the leadership of CEO Rob Looye, Plato Group has undergone a major and successful transformation over the past four years. The organisation achieved strong growth, developed a clear strategy, significantly strengthened its financial position and made the transition to sustainable profitability. This has laid a solid foundation for the future.
Now that this construction phase has been successfully completed, the time has come to hand over leadership to a new CEO who will guide the next phase of growth. Rob Looye will remain associated with the Supervisory Board and the management as an advisor until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
Tom te Riele will take up his position as the new CEO of Plato Group on 1 March 2026. Tom brings with him more than twenty years of international experience in e-commerce and digital transformation at management and executive level. He is currently Managing Director of Maxecom at the Speyzer Group.
Plato Group is confident that Tom's expertise and energy will successfully accelerate the further growth of IGO and Compacon in the European promotional market.
Plato Group looks forward to this new phase with confidence and ambition.
