The board of Plato Group is ready for 2025!

Helmond, 21 November 2024 – Under the leadership of CEO Rob Looye and CFO Paul Langerak, Plato Group is determined to take further steps in the company’s strategic growth in 2025. The focus lies on strengthening the market position of its brands, fostering innovation, sustainability, and further professionalization

With the end of 2024 in sight, Rob and Paul look forward to a promising new year. The board has clear ambitions: preparing Plato Group for the next phase of growth, with innovation, market development, and sustainability playing a central role.

Rob Looye explains: “I am very much looking forward to shaping our strategic direction further with the Plato Group team in 2025 and tackling new challenges. Our ambitions for the coming year are big. We are focusing on growth through market development, strengthening our brands and placing a strong emphasis on professionalizing our organization. In addition, we remain alert to the changing needs of our customers and market dynamics."

A key priority for 2025 is sustainability. The board sees this not only as an opportunity to make a positive impact but also as a vital responsibility for the company. “As an organization, we have a duty to contribute to a more sustainable world,” emphasizes Looye. “This goes beyond just our products and processes. It means actively working to reduce our ecological footprint, collaborating with sustainable partners, and raising awareness among our employees and customers about the importance of responsible business practices. Sustainability is not just a strategic choice but also a moral obligation aligned with our core values.”

Another major focus for 2025 is addressing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). CFO Paul Langerak, who joined the board at the start of 2024, is taking a leading role in this. “We don’t just want to meet the requirements; we want to consciously take the lead,” states Langerak. “This aligns with our ambition to operate sustainably and transparently.” Besides sustainability, he is concentrating on increasing insight into the performance of various parts of the group and implementing process improvements. These efforts are aimed at strengthening the organization and better preparing it for future growth.

With this clear vision and ambitious plans, Plato Group is ready to take the next step toward a successful and sustainable future in 2025.
